Health organizations
The New England Journal of Medicine, the popular web version of this prestigious organization.

National Cancer Institute, updated weekly.

National Alliance for Nutrition and Activity, promotes within the legislative and executive branches of the Federal government a better understanding of the importance of healthy eating,physical activity, and obesity control to the nation's health and health-care costs.

American Dietetic Association. With nearly 70,000 members, this is the largest group of food and nutrition professionals in the nation.

Private industry
5 A Day, developed in 1991 as a partnership between the National Cancer Institute and the Produce for Better Health Foundation. This unique partnership has been successful in increasing both the awareness of the health benefits of fruits and vegetables and their consumption.

The United Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association, the national trade organization representing the interests of producers and distributors of commercial quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables.
